Membership Problem

Hi everyone, I don't mean to bother anyone but I am not sure where to go for info about a membership problem. I signed up about three weeks ago and still have not recieved any information regarding my membership. I have had the membership fees deducted from my credit card, and I have gotten an Emial saying that my package will be sent out on the friday,. That was Three weeks ago, and I'm trying to find out who to contact about it.

Tom, I just wanted to add to your question.As long as I have been a member there has never been a membership card.Not that I need one,but when I show up at an event,how does anyone know if I should be there? Or doesn't it matter? Just courious.

Contact Eric/Gary Mortimer at the NCRS Merchandise Center in Cincinnati, Ohio. You should find phone/fax number listed at the main web site above, or it'll be in any copy of Driveline you might have or can borrow. PS, these folks DO leave the office now and then to attend NCRS Regional events + they'll surely close for the upcoming Bloomington Gold event next week to represent NCRS, recruit members, sell NCRS merchandise....

Also, you can e-mail to 'info@ncrs.org', but remember we're coming into the Corvette 'busy' season and there will be intervals when the lads are out/about working and representing NCRS....

Members active in the Judge/Tabulator recognition program DO get ID cards that are updated annually with fresh new recognition level status. From time to time, some members let their NCRS membership lapse, so just having an ID card (unless it had paid through xx/yy/zz field) doesn't solve the entire problem. Then, there's the issue of a member who joins, and decides to voluntarily resign his/her membership before the paid term expires.

Thorny problem without a nice/neat solution. Especially a nuissance when Chapter folks host events and there's a need to verify membership currency of those having cars judged as well as each/every NCRS member who's selected to judge the cars! Club rules require participation be limited to those members in good standing at the NCRS National level....

Hi Tom,

Good news: We mail out all US new member packets every Friday. Since you live in Canada, it might have left on Monday since we must travel to the Post Office to mail all "foreign" items. It would have been sent via "Ground".

Bad news: we don't control the Canadian Post Office. It's definitely on the way.

Membership Problem : No Stickers

Eric,

Three locals have joined NCRS in the past month or so, and none have had NCRS stickers enclosed in their packets. Are these no longer included?
