Anyone out there have an original 1972 LT1 with a Tonawanda engine block instead of a Saginaw/Flint block? A fellow tech board member infomed me that they did indeed use some Tonawanda blocks in base engine '72 models, but there doesn't seem to be any awareness or documentation of them being used in LT1's in 1972.
