1963 Warranty ....

During the recent judging at the national, I lost some points because I did not have the 1963 Warranty. I have an original manual and the pinkish color book, but I was told there was a third piece called the warranty. Does anybody have a photo or can describe this to me, I always was under the impression the pick colored book was the warrenty...what am I missing here?

Anybody got ideas where one of these are obtained, never seen this on ebay except for the books like I have....appreciate any help here, I am confused (like usual)

I got hit too, but at local chapter judging so I had time to get the missing item.
Think you are looking for an item called "Owner Protection Plan" its 4 1/2 X 7 inches and goes into a envelope called "New Car Warranty". The envelope is available at most repo shops, the Owner is another story. These do show up on ebay, however I'm not an ebay purchaser so

You know there were 2 books 1 pink and 1 yellow depends on build date
I have 3
I should send out the vin#s to see if I get a hit
Finding 1 that is not filled out good luck

Help me clarify this.

I think Collin is saying he has the book, but there is additional warranty card that is the third item. For a 63 there is the plastic folder, the warranty book and the ??????.

here is what I have in my glovebox:

the plastic envelope, which would contain all the following:

the 1963 Owner's Guide
Seatbelt care card
1963 Owner Protection Plan in a WHITE envelope "Here's Your New Car Warranty"
air scoop assembly card - Z06 only

Rick, let's wait for Collin to clearly explain what he thinks he was missing.

All I have in my glove box is the plastic envelope, owners guide, 1963 chevrolet owner protection plan and a chevrolet corvette AM_FM Radio operating instructions. Am I missing something?

yepper - the owner protection plan booklet should be in a WHITE envelope that measures about 5x7 and says something about "New Car Warranty"

So, if I'm reading this correctly, the yellow or pink warranty book goes in a white envelope? Why? It all goes in the plastic envelope.

If there's a separate book or folder, I've never seen one. I've never seen a white envelope either.

I have the following and was present at judging:

Original Owners Manual (Correct version with mail in cards for pin etc)
Pink Book as shown above (not the yellow one my build is Jan 1963 pink was issued and its complete)
White (Heavy stock paper) Envelope that says Warranty (NOTHING IN EVELOPE)
Seat Belt Card
AM Radio instructions

I was told there was a OWNERS WARRANTY that goe inside the White Paper Envelope...this is what I am trying to local.....

I also have the original plastic envelope this all goes into....can people be more specific about what goes inside the paper envelope....I hear two things the owners protection plan or the Warranty card...anybody have a photo of the Warranty card????? I was told they are very rare...

the "warranty" you are referring to should be in the "pink" book around page three or so - don't know why the judges had a hard-on about this!

BTW - Collin/Chuck - the white envelope was present when I bought my Z06, and the "beige" warranty book was inside - then everything was inside the plastic envelope

just thought of something - what is your VIN? is yours lower than say 8800? is so, believe you should have the "paper envelope" to hold all your paperwork - don't think the changeover to the plastic envelope occured until around 8800

According to everything I have read and the envelope itself the changeover occured in January, 1963. My car is 24 Jan., I have been told the plastic envelope is correct for me. Plastic Envelope is dated. My car is 10421.

BTW..(the judge I had, Angelo, for New England Chapter, a real nice guy), I showed him the pink Owners Car Book and I do have page 3 in tact that you describe, showed him this... He told me that it was NOT in that book but a SEPARATE document that came in that paper envelope, all put in the plastic envelope, he was very specific telling me it had NOTHING TO DO with the Owners Care Book (pinkish book), it was a standalone document....????
