Is there someone out there that can tell me what the hand written number means on a 1970 Corvette Tank Sheet? There is also an Ident. No. and Order No., What do these mean? I was also told the Date Received was always a Monday and the Exp. Date of Prod. was always a Friday... Is this true for a 1970 Corvette? I would just like to know I am looking at an original. Thanks for any and all help

On '69, the handwritten (grease pencil) number is the last 3 of the VIN, or last 3 minus 500. Also in '69 smaller and regular pencil is often the last 4 of the VIN.

IDENT No. Number assigned by GM to track car during assy and delivery. Also appeared on the WIndow Sticker.
ORDER No. Number pre assigned to order form which a dealer filled out to order a car.
Date Received: Typically any day of the week.
Exp date of Production: Basically a forecast date. Early stickers had this date as Friday. Later stickers usually have just 00/00/00Comment
