C2 (3) Clips holding rear light harness - coated

1967 AIM shows one of three wire holding "loop" clips, the one on the right side (AIM item 2, AIM part number 3741284) "centered above the inboard light". I assume this clip attaches with the upper tail-light nut...?

Same diagram seems to indicate the left side is mounted about the outboard light, but there is no such clarification note like mentioned in quotes above.

I am not very concerned about the inner or outer thing, because I am sure the factory folks were not very concerned either.

However, the center one attaches to what? I looked at a fairly orig., but repainted, 66 and noted that all three were simply hanging on the harness!

    Thanks

The left side attaches to the outer light to support the harness as it enters the area.
The right side attaches to the inner light as this is where the harness is "heaviest" in this area. If you place it on the outer light the wires for the inner light won't reach back to the light.

The center clip is mounted under a screw left of the license light.

All clips are rubber coated to prevent chafing of the wires.
