I would like someone to send me pictures of a stock 71 LT-1 engine from the top , both sides.I need to see how it was when I bought the car to make original
Mine has some of the wires and vacuum lines missing.As well as some brackets

You might want to get the Dobbins 1968 to 1972 Stingray Fact Book. This has a lot of engine photos of LT-1's for all 3 years.

I have the book and the pictures are black and white and not very clear. Color will tell me wheather something is painted black or rubber.Shades of grey are confusing . Clear color pics are best , please .

One of the purposes of NCRS meets is to display the cars so that other members can learn how to correctly restore their Corvette. You are getting on the bandwagon late in the show season, but you might consider attending some of the larger events in the hope of finding a Corvette that fulfills your photographic requirements.
