Here's what I think, or at least SHOULD have here:
1 core support from a '60 with base engine, and one from a 270 horse car. Problem is, I can't see any difference, and the repop top tank mount brackets I just got in don't fit either one. My vendor of choice lists 2 different core supports for the '60, but I figured the mount brackets were the difference. I think I could remove the U's that hold the radiator and offset em more to the rear and the brackets would probably fit in the core support, but hate to make a mess if the core support is just plain wrong. I sold a '61 about 15 years ago that I had scattered at the same time, and it was base engine. I'm wondering if I could've let the high horse core support go with it by mistake not realizing there was a difference.
Old age/senility is an awful hurdle when it comes to rounding up cars & parts from 25 years of scattered storage.
