    Re:Update: Restored Holley problem

I called the restorer's shop on Saturday morning after my builder went home. They were actually open. I spoke to a man named Tom. After giving him the details he suggested sending the carb. back to them with a detailed description of the problem. I agree with you that, I hope it is not any type of media in the carb. The man I am taking it to tomorrow is excellent. Thanks DG

      Re:Update: Restored Holley problem

I called my local Holley man today. After I described the problem, he thinks there is most likely a vacuum leak elsewhere in the carburetor rather than a plugged situation. He has seen many of these old carburetors warped in places that do not allow vacuum to pull through the designed areas/air bleeder. He felt I should send it back for the warranty. He does not want to void my warranty in case it is worse than we thought. So I called the carburetor restore people. They were very receptive and will turn it out in 2 days. Crap, I will not get her back for Memorial weekend. They will get the carb Thursday afternoon. DG
