I have a blower motor of GM #4914906.

Can anyone ID the application of this motor?

Craig I entered your motor number in Google and found info on it at Pacific Corvette. It is identified as a 64-65 Corvette roof vent motor. No picture available.

Sounds like the rear compartment blower for a Coupe.

I do not know what the rear compartment blower looks like, but this part looks just like a blower motor on the heater box. It is dated 8-67. Could it be correct blower motor for a 1967 corvette heater box?

Is this # on the box or stamped on the fan motor ?

I agree with others that the GM catalog lists this as '64-65 rear roof vent fan, but what is the number stamped on the mounting plate ?

Examples: from eBay, a guy was selling a complete rear blower unit (motor assy., cables, duct) and I copied his pics for my archives. The motor itself was stamped 5044557, with a (claimed) date of 11-64. I could post or email his pics.

2nd example: the blower motor (heater, evaporator core) for air cars, at least 1964 and 65 were STAMPED 5044559 (and mine has an ink stamp date of 8-64). Unfortunately, my '65 coupe has a rear roof vent blower-delete , so that's no help.

This to show that the GM catalog numbers are probable of motor UNITs or sub-assemblies.

Let us know what stampings, if any are found.
