    Carburetor replacement

I had my 75 motor rebuilt. Its not even close to being stock.10:5 comp.Dynoed at 398 hp with 428 ft. lb. torque.Currently it has the original quadra jet on it. But i would like to replace it. Anyone have any ideas as to the best way to go? Thanks

    Re: Carburetor replacement

What intake manifold is in place? That will govern your decision, because if you only have a squarebore pattern your original Quadrajet won't fit anyway.

Having said that, there's no reason that your current Quadrajet can't be tuned to work very well with your new motor. They flow 780 cfm, so you sure won't be limited in that department.
