Michael Hunt (RIP)

In a once-every-decade effort to clean up the office area, I ran into the folder for Michael Hunt, located in kinda the "in use" part of the office.

Obviously, it will not be "in use" any longer, but I felt I should keep the correspondence et al in a three ringer binder for easy reference.

Does anyone out there have a full listing of the "Reports" he issued and their topic/title?

Does anyone have a listing of the Vette Vues articles that he penned about 56/7 and their topic/title?

If they don't exist would anyone else ike to try and create such a listing?

Is it easier just to make a copy of the binder's contents and I'll make the list or ??? Copying and mail $$ gladly re-imbursed......let me know.

I have copies of reports 1,2, and 3. In one of those, Mike indicated that he planned to issue report no. 4 in mid-1981. I don't know if that ever got off the ground or not.
I haven't had any luck in finding out who knows where he kept all his research results, and whether or not those have been grabbed by someone or tossed out.

Mike, the last report ("rumor"?) that I have is

that there were like 13 "reports" - reliability factor, ????.
Because you are "in the area" (I don't know if there are kids, etc), the last information that I had from Mike was that his floppy discs (and his broken Apple II) were located in the attic over the garage. I don't know if you are the closest or not - but someone needs to contact someone and make sure that these discs don't go to the "Corvette Invoice" burial ground....ANY HELP ON WHERE TO GO OR WHO TO TALK TO IS WELCOMED.

The information involved may well indeed be the last possible reports on many of these cars...

Never any kids--several wives over the years. Was with long-time girlfriend--will have to see what I can do regarding name and info.

Michael was a huge help to me (technically and inspirationally!) during my '57 restoration. I'm sure I still have some (all?) of his reports and some correspondence, and will try to gather it up in the next few days.

Loren, I have a binder with some reports as well but it's in storage right now as I finish adding on to the house (and building a real garage!) I'll be digging everything out (hopefully) in 4-6 weeks when the "Motorhead Lounge" opens.
