I've got a 72 auto with air and as I'm putting the center console back together I'm not finding a way to secure the A/C control to the console shift plate. It sets in the opening and the A/C controls features three tabs, but there is nothing to attach the control unit to the console plate. Am I missing something here? Do I have the wrong console shifter plate (i.e. for non-auto cars)?
