    '67 windshield wiper motor

Hi, I tried the windshield wipers the other day and all that happened was a clicking sound from the wiper motor out on the firewall. I cleaned the ground wire connector from the motor and it did work properly for a short time until I turned the switch off and then the same clicking sound started again when I turned the switch on. Any suggestions to fix the wipers would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks,
    dm

I've had the same problem - on my 67 the wipers will (usually) work if the engine is running. If the engine is off, but the ignition is on, they just click as you described, but the wiper arms don't move. I cleaned the connector contacts, but nothing changed. Please let me know what you find -
