2005 & 6 production figures???

Anyone have a website that provides the production figures for 2005 & 2006 Corvettes, colors, interiors, conv. top colors, options, etc.???
I'm considering purchase of one for a daily driver and would like to know some figures.

Kent, I'm not sure if the website maintains past years' production records, but at the end of 2006, I got 2006 production details from this address:

That address for 2006 is still valid, and the production details come right up, but simply changing the 2006 to 2005 DOES NOT WORK. I know similar information existed for 2005, but I don't know how to find it.

I'm not denigrating anyone's 2005, but similar to 68s, they had a few Year One difficulties: harmonic balancers came off and tore up the accessory belt, radiator, etc; there were some transmission difficulties, differential design was under-strength, and others.

I believe the balancer problem occured in VINs between 11000 and 14000. They've probably all been fixed under warranty by now, but something to think about when looking at a LOW MILEAGE 2005. Some transmissions had machining errors that required field repair; these problems were corrected in 2005, and further minor transmission changes were made in 2006 I believe. The 2006s also received a beefed up differential.

try the national corvette museum site they my have what you are looking for. my 2005 C-6 was a early build the first week in sept and had no problems.

Thanks Chuck but I was especially looking for the 2005 figures. Some time ago, someone responded that they were available on another site but I have yet to locate it.

Corvette Black Book has the data that you are looking for. It can be purchased from NCRS or other Corvette suppliers.

Thanks, John. I found the 2005 production information on the Corvette Action Center website. The latest edition of the Black Book is on my list but it keeps slipping down since I have many older copies which are used for reference when needed. This is a special occasion when I wanted the C6 numbers ... not a usual circumstance.

Sad part of living in Ca. Few Corvette events to take in for the C6, every great event is back east
