Just finished the installation of power windows. During my restoration I uncovered evidence that my 65 originally came with power windows but was converted to manual at some point in the past. So, I decided to convert it back to it's original configuration. Since all of the holes had been filled and the console replaced, I decided just to purchase a power window conversion kit. It was advertised as an "easy installation" and including all the hardware , instructions, and templates.
Well, the installation was anything but easy. The directions didn't even have as much info as what's already in the AIM, and there were no templates included for all the holes. It came out very nice and works well, but probably not worth all the effort. If anyone is thinking about a power window conversion, this is not a project for the faint of heart.
