    Quiz

What engine is this? Be careful.
If you know the engine, then you will easily guess who the owner is.
Irrelevant ( ) Hints: alternator, RC7, 3x2 type fuel block, choke vacuum brake

Looks like a 65/66 Corvair 140 HP engine.

The car is the Fitch Phoenix, but the engine is a 4-carb 140hp Corvair; they came past my foreman's desk at 65 per hour at Willow Run all day long from '64-'66. You shoulda seen the 4-carb California K-19 version with A/C - almost as hard to build as the Spyder Turbo

                  Yes Fitch, Fitch, Fitch

You would think John Fitch was slowing down, but he was in fact at the Lime Rock Vintage Races Friday, and Saturday, and Sunday at the Vintage Car Show and back at the races on Monday. No exaggeration, he was there all day, every day.

I loved it. More to come. I have way to much video too.
