Hi all....from what I see in the archives, is it safe to assume none of these carbs were ever installed at the factory, in "64 or only over the counter replacements....Thx Frank

Re: 2818-1 Holley
Frank,
I believe the 2818 Holley is the production carburetor for 1964 high performance 350/365 HP engines- Top

Re: 2818-1 Holley
For 1964 the 2818 would have been the production carb for the L76 (365 HP). It was used again in 1965 for the L79 (350 HP) and for the L76 (365 HP). The only difference for later service replacement carbs would be a post production 3 digit date code or any 4 digit date code. They also used different fuel bowl screws with later service replacement carbs.- Top

If you mean the "dash-1" part; yes
1964 model year should always be just LIST 2818. I have a 3A3 body (3rd week of Nov 1963) with no "-1" after the 2818.
Mind you, I'm making a great assumption, as the 1965 TIM&JG says the changeover to the "-1" occured early in the 65 MY somewhere between 462 and 492.- Top
