Is pledge still the best thing to use on interior vinyl? What about the non silicone based dressings now anyone use them? And if so how did you like them.

Re: car care
The lemon pledge that one finds today is not the same and has a reformulation and does not have any wax. It does have silicones and petroleum products in it. It says you can use it on vinyl on the can. I don’t think that it would be good to use it on a classic car dash with vinyl though. I had used it for years with the old style formula, I think with the new product it might be detrimental to the dash and door panels now. This after I spoke with them on the phone, about the lemon pledge.

Re: car care
Kelly, I used Pledge since it came out on the interiors. Also used to use it on my hot rod that had many coats of black lacquer. Boy did it make it shine. Used to have carnuba in it. Heard it doesn't anymore but don't know.
I still use it sometimes on my GMC leather interior. Don't care if you are supposed to or not as I like the smell. The dollar store stuff though is not the same. John- Top

Re: car care
Armor All recently introduced a new natural finish, silicone-free combination cleaner and protectant. The non-greasy, residue-free formula is even suitable for steering wheels.
