    Looks like the plastic part that is used to adjust the headlights.

    If it is, how's about some red one's for a 63.

      No doubt about it, and one heck of a good reproduction too...you'll never have to worry about that one wearing the threads out. Geoff, I agree...Steve's a master machinist...his hourly rate may be pretty steep.

          The stiffness of that part would make installing the HL capsules a little difficult. For a part that you can buy for about a buck, I cant see the reason for the extraordinary effort.

            Wayne,
            I somewhat agree with you. But Steve obviously is a crafy hobbyist with lots of neat tools and skills that will help in his hobby. I don't think he was looking to set the world on fire. I also wondered if the Aluminum would more easily transmit some harmonic frequency that plastic would temper, and the capsules would resonate or wiggle. Congrats on your other hobby achievement.
