C1 Third Member

Will a 62-63 Chevy ll rear end third member work in a C1 Corvette? My heigbor has a chance to pick one up cheap and asked me if it will work and I didn't have an answer for him. I know they are similar but will it work without any problems? Thanks in advance for the info

I am not an expert but believe all 57-64 (or 65) passenger car third members will fit 5 ? - 62 Corvette. Don H.

I agree with Don, all 55-64 passenger car and 57-62 Corvette third members will interchange.

I am not sure what rearend the Chevy II used so am not sure of interchange with it.

You misread my question, I was asking if a 62-63 Chevy Two rear end will work. The appearance is a little different but bolt pattern seems the same.

For what year, the 62-63 are one type and 64 up are different, I got an email from a very reputable rear end man from this forum saying it would but that they are not as strong.
