    '67 windshield wiper motor

After cleaning all the connectors, the wiper motor still does not run when the switch is turned on every time. All that can be heard when they don't operate is a clicking sound coming from the wiper motor. But if I leave the switch on and tap the washer motor housing the wiper will start to run. Any comments to help remendy the problem would be greatly appreciated.
As always, thanks for your responses,

My opinion is to send the wiper motor to a restorer before something more goes wrong with it.

Since it starts working after you tap on it, that suggests something mechanical wrong. Power on and not running may cause electrical failure and greater rebuild costs.
