I am looking to find the paint that matches the original color on the hubcaps on a 1964 corvette. These are the stock hubcaps for the steel wheels that that have the fake knock-off centers. Any suggestion on the best way to redo this paint? Thanks for any help. Dale

Re: Paint Color
Dale,
Wayne asking a trick question.. Early caps don't have any paint.
If there is a good paint jobber near you, call and ask if they have one of those wiz bang paint matching spectrometerthingamjiggies.
If they do, just take them your wheel cover and have them mix up a pint of matching paint.
good luck,

Re: Paint Color
Thanks for all of the help. My car was build March 16, 1964 and is the 14,349 car built. Just to help clarify, I have included a picture. It seems like the center is painted with a chrome rim, around the slots and the very center where the knock-off connects. I can sure get a local paint store to match the current color and that should be close enough for this car.
Thanks, again. I am going forward with matching my paint.
