    Working on 1963 Headlight Motors

I need to get at the headlight motors on my 1963... there is a loose bracket/wire and one needs adjustment to the parked position. What is the best way to do this? Should I remove the grill or just try and squeeze in behind the raised hood??

    Thanks!!!

You can work from in front of the opened hood, using a mirror; use a 1/4" bolt through the safety holes in the hood hold-open so it doesn't fall while you're working in front of it.

Also when you get the motors loose it helps to have someone hold the hood open past the support stop. Just that little extras space will help to not chip the paint as you bring it out past the hood. Good luck
