Getting ready to paint my 54 vette. I always thought the correct color was called Polo White. The paint store has no paint chip called Polo Whie for any 54 Chevy or any 54 GM car. The only white in 53-55 is called India White. Is India White the correct color for my 54 vette? If not where do I find the formula or the paint. Thanks for your help.
Ted
It should be polo white. I just painted my 54 in PPG base coat clear coat and I still have the formula if you need it. It was a great color match for the original color. The car got a bloomington silver award this year. If you need the formula let me know. email ccvettes@macomb.com. Jeff
DuPont also can mix up a Polo White, my local dealer has my paint code on his message board waiting for me to have it mixed. He just mixed up a quart of Sportsman Red for trunk and deck lids... If you need the codes, let me know.
