C2 Brake Pedal Bracket Attachment

Can someone please tell me what the correct HW is to use on the upper two studs of the brake/clutch bracket. I'm referring to the HW that would be attached onto the firewall and that screws onto the upper two studs of the pedal bracket. The AIM shows what looks like an integral nut/washer type device. I wouldn't think that one would use a standard nut and lock washer, but who knows. Thanks for any words or pictures.

Depends on the year - '63-'65 used separate nuts and washers, '66-'67 used a flanged nut with no washers.

Thanks John, Harry for the replys. I found my "original" attachment HW, a nut and LW, but again, looking at the AIM it looked like it should be a flanged bolt instead. It looks like because my car is a very early 66,that they may have used the 65 configuration.

Thanks for they key about 65 being different than the 66. That may explain my difference.
