Black 69 body shim tape source...

Does anyone know where to get black body shim tape? The stuff that I see at the common vendors is all tan, almost like masking tape which I assume is correct for some cars but not mine. Mine was black so I would like to find some if there is any out there.

If not, then is there any way to make the tan stuff black? I thought maybe painting the tan stuff black but then if the paint came off it would look terrible so I'm not sure what the best approach is.

Any ideas?

I really don't know.

All I have is what was between the body mounts and shims so I'm guessing an inch and a half...maybe two? I think it's the same width as the tan tape but again I have no idea how wide that is either...sorry.

Anyone else know how wide this shim tape should be?

This is the black masking tape used to mount photos. 1" is about $5 a roll.
