On the Subject Of In Plant Inspections

Since we have had a little discussion of St. Louis plant inspection proceedures, I thought I would post these pictures of an AO Smith body. It was apparently inspected and the problems noted with X marks and circles. You can see where rivets were not properly seated and were the bonds have been repaired.

I can see the X and O's, but I'm too befuddled to ID the locations of the shots. The middle photo looks like the area by the by the vent door in the door hinge pillar. My guess as to the others is embarassing - as I haven't stared up at the bottom of an old girl in awhile. Please help this olde vouyeur with the location of these shots on the body.

Yes the first picture is the left floor board, the second is the right floor near the vent hole, the third is the inner tunnel. Those rivets are for the tunnel insulation bracket.
