    Engine BLock 10813IKB

The number is on the passenger side at the front of the block. Does anyone know what engine it is? I was initially told it was a 68 396ci from a Camaro but I was later told it was a 66 or 67 Corvette 427ci.

What is the casting number on the rear of the block?

      Eric-----

If the suffix code is actually "ICB", then it's a code that was never used for a PRODUCTION vehicle, if it was used, at all. However, code "KB" was used. It denotes a 1969 Chevelle with 350 hp 396 and manual transmission. The engine casting number (from the bellhousing flange) will go a long way to confirm that possibility.
