This was a great regional for me. I was judged by a 92/93 Team, that was outstanding, and I got to drive my ZR-1 over 1300 miles, through some of the best ZR roads I have ever been on. I got stopped once in Oregon by their finest, and all he wanted to do, was see the engine. He told me when he pulled up to the rear of the car that he had never observed the ZR-1 badging on the rear. I told him, that is all most people ever see, is the rear of a ZR-1, or a ZO-6. I think I have recruited a new member for NCRS, he drives an 89 with very low miles. If a chapter in Oregon receives an application from an Oregon State Police Officer, your welcome.

Re: Northwest Regional
Yes, it was an excellent event, Wayne Loron and all the other organizers did an outstanding job - particularily in arranging for the wonderful weather.
I only had the pleasure of a 500 mile round trip in my 67 - but that was long enough gven that I had completed the heater core replacement only hours before departure and was a little gun shy of a long journey.- Top
