Opinion on BB exh manif casting date

This boat anchor was on my '65 BB when I bought it. Apparently installed about 1984 when the then owner removed the headers and installed N14 exhaust. I replaced with 301/302 crate motor take-offs about 1993; they still had orange overspray.

This part has the Air Injection tubes (now blocked off with pipe plugs)

So, is it C_8_7, making it a K19 A.I.R. manifold dated March 8th 1967 (California & others when ordered), or is it G_8_7 (August) installed on an early 1968 big block (all had A.I.R.[?])

It is a "C". No evedence of a G tale or a grind mark where it was removed.I have a pattern shop. we make the patterns that the castings are molded from. Most date tage G'S have a different shape in the C part than the G.

Thanks, Ken & Steve; also.....

.... should have identified the manifold as an "828" RH unit (although I'm sure both of you figured that out).

Another mistake was my mentioning a possible "G" as August 1967, whereas it is July.

Technically, I supppose, even a July 7th casting could have found its way onto a late '67 BB w/K19.
