Re: 1985 vette prices
Marc,
I just checked that website, and it's a not worth a flip. Sorry; I thought I had used it before.
Latest issue of Corvette Fever has a "How to Buy" article and it says this for '85: Fair Condition-$5200, Good Condition-$7875, Excellent Condition-$11250. No options are shown to add to price. My experience with Corvette mag prices is that they can sometimes be lower than the dealer's books. Slip on down to Barnes & Noble, and read their price books at the magazine stand.

Re: 1985 vette prices
The Corvette Fever prices are exactly the same as the current edition of the "CPI" price guide, which I have found to be a good practical price guide.
CPI considers an "Excellent" vehicle to be in "nearly perfect condition, usually professionally restored to the current highest standards, but a few exceptionally well cared for original cars may qualify", rarely driven. "Fair" means "presentable condition, runs and drives and will pass a state safety inspection; generally in need of a cosmetic restoration", but not a "basket case" or a "beater".- Top

Re: 1985 vette prices
HI Mark:
My next door neighbor (in Pahrump, NV) just bought an '85 from a pilot transferring from Nellis AFB. Very clean, drives great, 58K miles. Paid $8500 for it. Only thing it needs is tires. Looked like a great deal to me
He found it in the Sunday paper.
