If you are looking for a "Bloomington Gold Certification" this is not the correct forum.

I don't wish to be a wise a$$, but NCRS has never certified a single Corvette, and likely never will. Bloomington Gold® Certifies Corvettes, and you could have had your 1996 Certified at the 1996 Bloomington Gold(R) event or any one since then.

If you are asking when NCRS will judge 1996 Corvettes, someone with a better crystal ball than I will have to answer your question. Given the volunteer nature of NCRS, that question will be a hard one to answer.

Allen Tremain is the C4 & C5 judging Manual Coordinator, and Roy Sinor is the National Judging Chairman. Contact information for them is on the contacts page of this site -- accessible from the "contacts" radio button at the top of the page. Either of them should be in the best position to answer your question.

Team Leader appointment followed by Judging Guide release typically happens when cars reach/near 25 years in age. The material for '92-93 Corvettes was just released after this year's National Convention....

            Jack,

Last time I checked, 1992 was 15 years ago, not 25.

              Paul,
I just had my 93 Ruby (40th Annv) ZR-1 Flight Judged in Leavenworth, Wa. on the 14 of September. I overheard some of the Judges for my car, and someone asked when they could have their 96 judged. The answer indicated that NCRS was judging 94/95 in 2008, and 96/97 in 2009. This is not the from Roy Sinor, but conversation. It would appear to me, that NCRS is going to attempt to bring in younger owners to the organization. Right now my 93 turned 14 years old this month. It would appear that NCRS is on a 14 year rule.
