Just wondering if anyone has seen a set of small block heads with the casting ending in 462 BUT under the GM number there is also marked Canada??

Not unusual, GM had a foundry in Canada, McKinnons industries if I remember correctly, just not used on

Yes, the GM foundry in Canada was located in St. Catherines, Ontario and many blocks and heads for small blocks were once cast there. As Bill mentioned, though, no PRODUCTION Corvette components. Primarily, castings were used for Canadian-market vehicles, but PRODUCTION and SERVICE parts for many US-built cars were made there, too. This foundry closed quite a few years ago---in the early 90's, as I recall. The engine plant where most of these castings used to go for machining and assembly is still there in St. Catherines, though.
