I am looking at the 08's and incoparing the 2 I see that the gas milage estimates dropped off by 3 mile to a gallon on the hwy and 2 in the city. Does any one have any mileage reports yet? Are there any other problems that anyone knows of? Thyanks in advance. Tom

Re: Any 08 reports yet?
08 might deserve a slightly lower rating with 30 more HP, but we're using an 08 automatic as a demo right now and seeing a 28MPG average.Tom Hendricks

Re: Any 08 reports yet?
The EPA test methodology and results calculations changed for ALL 2008 models in order to more accurately reflect on the sticker what real-world operation will yield. The cars haven't changed - only the test - actual mileage is the same as before.- Top

Re: Any 08 reports yet?
my C-5s got between 28 and 30 MPG on trip from Pa to the NCM in BG. the difference was the 2.73 vs 3.15 rear gear. my 05 C-6 with a 3.15 rear gear got 26 MPG on the same trip. i now have a manual 6 speed 08 but i have not taken any trips. they all got about 20/22 MPG everyday- Top

Geez, Clem, you must be drivin' 'em like an old lady. I once got my Cosworth Vega down to 12 MPG in every day driving, which is about what it got hot-lapping Riverside and Willow Springs.
