Which wheel cyl thrust rods on '63?

Still wallowing in the misery of multiple '63's disassembled in boxes for 20 yrs, and parts mixed with other cars.

One of the old aftermarket parts books shows the T type rods from the wheel cyls to shoes, and one of the boxes of '63 parts I'm sifting through has a trailing arm with the drum brakes still assembled and the T type rods. The Wagoner catalogue shows the straight type for all GM's with 11" drum brakes, although I can't find a specific listing for the Corvette. My normal vendor shows the straight type also in their catalogue picture.

    Norris-----

My information shows that 1963 Corvettes used the same thrust rods as every other Corvette ever built with drum brakes. They're also the same as most other passenger cars with drum brakes. These were GM #509233 and I believe they are the "straight" type. I can't imagine why the trailing arm assemblies you got into had any different type.
