Here is a pic of how the carpet looks on the driver side, under and behind the seat.
A few days ago I was asking for this info,I have since found my old carpet, which I believe is original.
Hope it helps others, since this was dicussed, but never clarified..

I for one appreciate the photos, would assume they are original, who would take the time to do the tray cutout aftermarket.

I would like to confirm what I am seeing here w/r/t seat track mounting, plus seeking the input of others. Fronts, bolted right through the carpet. Rear, the anchors bolted directly to the floor, carpet rectangle cut out sufficient to expose the anchor and large enough that track slide does not jamb on any carpet, thou carpet likely covers the outer anchor bolt. Were there plates originally present under the anchors, or a rust stain outline of them being present earlier?

Also interesting that edging along tray cutout only present in rear, where carpet would be exposed when seat pushed full forward to access tool tray. That makes a lot of sense.
