    63 SWC vent window

I am trying to re-install the vent glass into the frame, utilizing the vent window mounting material from Paragon.
Can someone suggest the best way to get the glass/mounting material into the chanel ?
Should I use a heatgun to soften the material, or should I use a soap solution, so the material will slide better ?
I tried to get the glass installed, but the it will go into the channel only 1/2 way and stop. It bunches up at the corner...
    What is the trick ?

    Rainer -

Cut a small pie-shaped segment out of both legs of the inside radius of the setting tape at the corner, and use a soap solution.
