Re: Dipstick and the Lifetime Achievement Award

            Way to go Dennis!!

I've been waiting for someone to break the ice on this one. I wasn't aware that he is such a nut bag (that's a compliment.. ) It's good to know the background story behind his "Dipstick" moniker too.

It it pretty evident the NCRS owes ALOT of it's success to people like DC. I'm pleased as punch that he was offically recognized for his contributions to the organization.

And TC, ya needs to ask Dipstick about the "Maryland Mucous" moniker.

Put me in Coach, I'm ready to play...

...former NCRS Judging Chairman & former NCRS President, Bill Clupper, gave me the chance to play. Did my best, enjoyed almost every single minute - thanks to support from members exactly like those in this thread. Thanks guys... I had a heck of a good time.

If you'll allow me an additional comment, #14 Mike McCagh is easily my choice for NCRS member of the century. Sure, he's a jerk, but if all NCRS member's aspired to his quality, quantity and honesty of contribution, all of us and NCRS would be better off for his unselfish effort. Thanks Mikie, Dip

                          Congrats Dennis,

I've been reading about you in the Restorer having been a member now nearly 20 years. Well deserved! Great story in the Restorer.

My wife here was especially interested in the 65 XKE birthday present you got for your wife! Why is it that women like those things? My wife of 31 years always wanted one, and coincidentally in 1991 she got a 72 XKE from me for her birthday. What Was I Thiiiiiinking! That's why I've never been able to attend a NCRS judged event with my 59. I'm always fixing the Jaguar instead of restoring the Corvette!:-)

                          All the Best,
