Can any of the members tell me what would be the correct headstamp on the bolts for both the upper and lower alternator mount and the battery tray to frame bolts? The car is a late production '67 with an L79. I'd like to replace these items with correct ones as they were changed by a previous owner at some point. Thank you for any and all input. Have a great weekend.
Re: Correct bolts for '67 alternator & battery tra
Joe,
The alternator bolts for my late June 67 base engine which I believe to be original are:
Upper NAT
Lower SBC
These head markings may not be in accordance with the JG but I pretty sure that they are the original ones (although the upper one could have been changed). My June 29 car has a lot of variances in bolt head markings with the JG.
