    1964 Signal Flasher ?

    Hi all,

I am needing a bit of info regarding the correct signal flashers used in 1964 for cars with back up lights. I had my car Flight Judged last weekend and took several point deductions for my original Tung Sol 224 signal flasher because it did not have a blue metal appearance. Could someone possibly take a picture of what this looks like and email to me or explain which others are correct? I hate to replace my original but I am taking my car to a regional meet the first of the year to have it judged again and I am trying to sure up any loose ends.

    Thanks in advance,

    Craig Willetts

    224 Blue Metal Can

You'd get dinged for the scratches, though.

On the top is; MFD to J590-61 (and) SAE

On the side opposite from that shown in pic is: patent #; made in USA and the top line has 3 small stamped digits 4 (space), 2 (space), 3; which may be a date code.

Could send other pics if that would help.
