    whiskey decanter identification

the better half was out flea-marketing over the weekend and drug home a blue 68 to 72 coupe decanter. its got a "stingray" decal on both front quarters, "goodyear" tires and on its underside has the following C Bud Hastin no 550. the 550 is handwritten, the rest of it appears to have been painted on the floorpan underside. anyubody seen one of these critters? lea gave a buck for it but since it was not a c-1 or c-2, i gave her the rasberries. she's still not speaking. ain't life wonderful when they deactrivate the TMJ? mikie

Mike, if you send me a photo of the underside, I may be able to help identify the object in question. Regards, Arland

Ya better hope she don't read this, you TMJ will require the services of a surgeon.

Hastin is a noted authority on collectable bottles. Curious though, that his name is on one. He is the author of many books on bottles. How big is the bottle?

          I can't even imagine...

...where this discussion is going or where it will end up... Oh, well, at least it is serious Corvette technical stuff - worthy of inclusion in the next 1963 JM, due out in in the year 2525... Hey, that's kind of a catchy # phrase...
