Oh yea, you owe me 3 grand, right?

Ok, What's wrong with this picture?

These are all parts for a 1962 Corvette....or are they? Identify what's wrong.

hint.... there may be more than one.

Looks like the pile of parts I purchased when I bought my last '61 (1971). I purchased every available piece that I ever though that I might need. Had every piece of exterior molding and all the bumpers with the exception on the RF. I purchased about $2,500 worth of parts back then.

I won't tell you what I paid for this stuff! Arghhhh! Actually, I made 2 huge truckload(pickup that is) buys from some guys I know, other stuff the infamous auction scene. Did ok on most, a little high on some, but it's getting tough to find this stuff.

But there's more, I just got lazy and ran out of room on the "shelf" car.

There's a 55-62 part in there! Look closely. The orange and black box! I paid $18,342.21 for it. Most expensive part in the lot!

Nope, the gas cap was $3.78 at Napa about 20 years ago. It's the dimmer switch next to the orange box, yes with the dimple on the button! You probably have a dozen.

I'm still waiting for the wrong 62 parts. Going to sleep, it's 11:30 here. I expect the correct answer by morning though.

For that money it has to be the car under the cover.

                          Hi Don,

My 59? Ironically, that's about what I paid for it, but in 1986. It was too much money then, but I had to have it.

the wrong part. I hear there is a run on them for the wives. Well, after typing that, I'd say it's the right part to have. All the rest is junk. LOL
