One more question tonight. My 70 wiper door will not come up without pulling the override switch.Wipers work fine. I have adjusted a few items and can only get it to work with the dash switch if the right hand wiper is up on the windshield to the point the door crimps it and does not fit flush? is the switch or valve under the right wiper sensitive to adjust? Help Regionals coming up. Thanks.

Re: 70 wiper door
Has it worked recently? To answer your question, Yes it is sensitive. Do you have the trouble shooting guide? Mine is at home, so I can't quote it. I had a similar issue that I thought was the solonoid on the back of the tach, I even took it apart and re-wound the windings to no avail; but then I had to replace the wiper switch and it worked fine. There are two "switches, one is electric that contacts once the door is open for the wipers to come on, the othere is pnumatic(?) that the wiper arm hits and signals that it is o.k. to close the door. Check the plug and the boot on the pnumatic motor that operates the door, then check the lines tho the pnumatic control diaphram (and don't take off for spelling!!! ). Send me an e-mail tonight and I may be able to read you the trouble shooting guide.
