How late were "66 hoods used on '67 ?

Hello;
Have a '67 that we stripped the down to factory primer (so I think it's original)
The rest of the body is absolutely original.

Inner structure has 3/4 - 1" elogated holes to get access to fastening the hood emblem.

Inside of the outer panel under the holes there are small dimples were it looks like you would drill inside out.

What do you think?

These hoods were used the entire 1967 model year.
This is well documented - and well reviewed in the Archives.
