53 to 57 front bumpers

I go to Corvette meets and NCRS meets and now and then see the wrong front bumpers on 53 to 57 Corvettes . I also see some dealer list front bumpers like ( 53 to 57) as tho there all the same.
The pic. Here is 53 to 55 ONLY which has a straight cut and go to the link and you see that the 56 to 57 has a half moon cut.
I haven't seen a dealer that sells repro 53 to 55 front bumpers /is that correct.

Interesting........

Similar to the auction sellers that advertise front bumpers for "58 to 62", not realizing there's a difference in the 58-60 to 61-62 grille bar mounting stud locations.

I got a deduction for having the wrong ones on my car at the Florida Kissimme NCRS meet last year.. I am still looking for the correct ones.

Roy and other '53-5 owners,

I believe no is currently reproducing the correct '53-5 bumperettes and CC may have been the last one doing it correctly since about 10 years ago. There is another hole in the market besides bubble tops for an interprising young individual.
