    Maybe your clock wanted to be installed in a '52 Pontiac and doesn't like being in a Corvette!:-) See......I remembered your earlier post about them being the same.

    I agree. I've been a victim of this and I think many of us have too. I've bought a few items, and when I get them they're different from what I expected and incorrect. Since I've been on this list I've been more confident after asking around. A smarter shopper these days. On the other hand I've found some sleepers that turned out to be great finds but those are rare.
    Also find so many sellers that advertise an item that's way off the mark. I've even sent them friendly FYI's that their item is incorrect for the application(like 58-62 front bumpers), wrong part#, etc. Some never reply and never correct it, some are very thankful and correct their info. I keep those sellers on my list. I've armed myself with books and parts manuals etc but sometimes it's not enough.

    Experience is best and so much of that here.
