C3 Side Vent Restoration Part 2

As my previous post indicated I am in the middle of some projects, The repaint overspray got inside my vent, and I want to refinish the area that was blacked out with the correct color/gloss. What brand and finish would you recommend? Any tips or prep ideas?

    Thanks!

As Kent alluded below, all black-out applied at the assembly plants was the same product...GM did not stock several gloss levels of black at the assembly plant for special black-out applications.

I am not intimately familar with the 76 vent configuration, but there could be some difference in gloss level of the black if it was applied to the vent component by a supplier...OTOH, there was some variation in the gloss level of the factory black-out over time. Since I have no idea what the 76 TIM&JG says about black-out, I'll be going out on a limb here, but I doubt anyone will criticize your restoration if you go to Home Depot, buy spray can(s) of "satin black" or "semi-flat", and spray all your black-out areas with that. Brand of paint es no importante.
