Can someone help me to identify a fan blade that I dug out of storage. It sure looks like a Corvette one. It has 5 flat head rivets per blade. Has Front, an H, and a W stamped on the hub. It has a 3" hole pattern and a 2 3/8 center hole. However it is 18" in diameter. That through me off. Can someone tell me what this is. Thanks.
Bob - I agree with Tracy that is sounds like a fan blade assembly for a C60 car. How many blades does the fan blade assembly have ?
The 66-67 Corvette sb C60 fan blade assembly of the type you describe had 5 blades and has round mushroom head shaped rivets and while I find the FRONT and a "H" stamped on the front of the hub, I don't find a "W" stamped anywhere on the examples I have. The 64-65 Corvette w/ C60 fan blade assemblies is 18" dia and has 7 blades and the 66-67 BB w/ C60 an blade assembly has 5 blades and is 17-1/2" diameter.
Is the area where the rivets are located depressed? If so, the fan blade assembly is the type used on 66-67 PASS and G10 vans w/ C60.
With a little more accurate measurement, and with the aide of my glasses, it looks like this fan is really 17.5 inches. One blade is about 8 7/8, whereas the rest are 8 3/4 to the center. Thanks for the replys though.
