    C4 - Spark plug wires ??

    Are the original plug wires for 1986 Corvettes black or gray? The replacement wires appear to be black. Accordingly, will Delco #618W (12073939) be acceptable for Flight Judging purposes? Please advise.

          i still have the original wires on my 20,000 mile 86 pace car and they are gray

              Acceptable?! Sure, but if they're not the same color as the originals, you'll receive a few points originality deduct.

              You might check Lectric Limited's current catalog to determine if their dated repro plug wire sets extend up into the C4 years. Now that the C4s are in judging, it seems there would be a market for the wires.
