Members,
Does anyone know of a photographic service that can take a digital photograph of my Corvette and turn it into a wall sized picture? I suppose the wall size picture would be a mosaic of many prints; but that would be OK.
Yes, I think I do. One of my sons is in the graphics business and has used a graphic co in Utica Michigan that does such a process..................but I think you better have a fat check book.
I will e-mail him and get back with you.
Your local sign and banner company can scan your picture and print it to size. Just call them and ask for an estimate. Can be done on sticky back material for application..like on trucks and trailers. Most can take the picture if you don't have one.
Also..your local repro graphic shop that does blueprints can scan and print as well...very reasonable..24" x 36" black & White about $3.00. Color about $15 to $35 depending on paper quality.
Another option is to take the photo down to your local Kinko's copy store. I've had 3'x4' wall hanging type blow-ups made there before (mounted on 1/4" thick fiber board)and I believe they have the capability (at some stores) to go even larger.
Try the National Corvette Museum - their weekly e-mail a couple of weeks ago had details of such a service available through the museum where they could have various sizes of murals made from a high-resolution image.
